In the Fall of 2017, Ananda Hemp hosted two events at the Cynthiana, Kentucky farm. These events welcomed people to tour the farm, walk through the hemp fields, meet the farmer and see the laboratory facilities where the hemp is processed.
We want to bring a fiber mill from Australia to Kentucky next year which would require 5,000 acres. We could grow more in one factory than the entire state is growing right now.
Education is a crucial step to acquiring new customers. It’s important for people to know that we’re growing hemp, not marijuana, at a THC level at or below .3%. This means we are legal and in complete compliance with all laws at the state and federal levels. Education about the legality of what we’re doing is one part. Education around the many uses of hemp is still another.
Hemp can be used in paper and cardboard products, clothing and fabrics, plastic and building materials, fuel and nutrition. It’s a crop that is changing and will continue to change the world.
